A little more than ear seeds.
Growing up in Hong Kong, Asian traditions were simply part of everyday life. There were familiar, comforting, and just '“normal”. After moving back to Australia, where I was born, I began to realise how easy it is to lose touch with the little things that once felt like home. And how special it can be to rediscover them in a different place, at a different stage of life.
That’s where Manfa began.
What started as a curiosity about ear seeds grew into something much bigger. Manfa was never meant to be just about selling ear seeds. My vision is to create a space where we can share the traditions we grew up with, explore the stories behind them, and find ways to bring a little more of that culture into our modern, everyday lives.
Whether you’re reconnecting with your roots or discovering something for the very first time, I believe culture is something worth keeping close. I hope Manfa becomes a space where you can discover traditions you've never encountered, rediscover those you may have forgotten along the way, and reconnect with the ones that have always held a special place in your heart.
